Slovakia has a very good potential for the development of golf, which is becoming more and more popular in this country.

There are already several golf courses around the country with different difficulty degrees in beautiful surroundings.

Golf Course GRAY BEAR (Par 71)

This is an eighteen hole Championship golf course, situated in middle Slovakia, under the mountains of the Low Tatras, in the region Tale. It was opened in 2002 and it´s beautifully routed and designed.

The beginning nine is in an open meadow, while the second nine is mostly cut into a forest of massive pine and rock, with a spectacular and difficult finishing hole emerging back to the open meadow.

Accommodation is offered in 2, 3, and 4 star hotels around the course. Golf packages including accommodation and green fee are available upon request.

Golf Course PIEŠŤANY (Par 66)

This is a nine hole golf course built on the Spa Island of the spa resort of Pieą»any, in the western part of Slovakia. It was opened in 2004. The whole nine is in a park, holes are nicely routed between trees and bushes.

Accommodation is offered in 3 and 4 star hotels on the Spa Island. Golf packages including spa treatment and green fee are available upon request.

Golf Course BLACK STORK (Par 72)

After its recent enlargement, Black Stork is the largest golf resort in Slovakia. The current 18-hole golf course will be enlarged in the near future and another 9 holes will be opened, so the golf resort will have 27 holes in total. Furthermore, the resort has a public 9-hole golf course (where having greencard is not necessary), golf academy (where you can obtain the greencard), and the largest covered driving range in Slovakia with a lenght of 350m and 100m wide. The astonishing views of Black Stork thanks to its location next to the High Tatras, together with its excellent facilities, make it a very active golf resort where plenty of tournaments are played during the golf season.

Accommodation can be offered in Hotel International, a new 4-star hotel situated in the golf resort, or in any other hotel in The High Tatras.

Golf Course BRATISLAVA - BERNOLÁKOVO
(Par 62)

This is a nine hole golf course 15 km away from Bratislava, opened in 1995 and situated in a beautiful park area. The finishing hole is leading towards an old castle building.

Accommodation can be arranged in Bratislava or in a 4 star hotel situated close to the golf course. Packages including accommodation, green fee and transportation to and from the golf course are available upon request.
